The mercerized cotton makes these socks feel much softer than standard cotton—they're noticeably breathable too. I wore them all day at work and my feet stayed comfortable.
I've been wearing these with my running shoes and the mercerized cotton is surprisingly soft—no irritation after a full day. They stay put without slipping down.
The quarter height is perfect for wearing with sneakers — stays put without slipping down into my shoe. Soft inside and out, right out of the package. Bought two packs and they've held up well after several washes.
Mercerized cotton does make these feel a bit nicer than your average sock, and the length is just right for casual sneakers. They seem decently made, but I wish the pack came with a third pair for the price. They're fine for everyday wear, just nothing extraordinary.
